Series Description:

Join Dr. Jennifer Mullan, Psychologist, Wrister, Ancestral and Intergenerational Trauma Healer, and International Speaker, for an eight-part interactive workshop series, Politicizing Your Practice: Tools and Strategies for Youth Service Providers. The series is a guided (virtual) live experience where participants will explore how histories of colonization relate to the child welfare and service provider fields, explore the intergenerational transmission of trauma, better learn the effects of structural oppression on provider and youth well-being, understand racial trauma, and gain the tools, and more importantly the questions, to decolonize your practices.  This workshop series engages the participants through a healing discourse, creating space for workshops allowing participants to experience a reflective healing process.  The series contains 4 workshops that are educational lectures, and 4 workshops that are interactive and exploratory.
