Series Description:

Training Summary: Provide a couple sentences summary (content themes/training techniques, and how this training is relevant to working with children who live in out of home care)
Many system involved youth and their families are survivors of interpersonal violence and other traumatic experiences which impact their ability to regulate their nervous systems. Those who work with them often find themselves becoming dysregulated in the process of learning about their client’s experiences. The first part of this series will focus on building a foundation in energy psychology techniques and how to apply them. In the second part of this series, participants will build on their knowledge of energy psychology to learn a chakra based technique for addressing emotional dysregulation. These techniques can be used by providers during and after work as self-care and can be used and taught to youth and families for both treatment of distress and trauma and as self-help.

Class Objectives: (what knowledge, ideas or skills will participants explore, learn, practice, etc during the training) Provide at least 3 class objectives.
