Seneca foster care pre-approval training is primarily designed for prospective
resource parents with the purpose of developing and strengthening the
knowledge, understanding, and skills essential when caring for foster youth.
These trainings will be held virtually through Zoom. A link will be sent out
closer to the training date after you register for the training.

Training: Medical Support Q & A
Class
Description: This training is intended to
supplement the self-paced training and quiz which is taken prior to this
session. This session provides caregivers the opportunity to discuss
medical-related questions related to foster care placement including but not
limited to documentation, medication, medical care, emergency services, and
other Community Care Licensing (CCL) requirements. An open forum is provided
with additional focus on key topics that often result in questions from foster
parents. The trainer also reiterates specific topics related to CCL guidelines
and medication safety to ensure caregivers have thorough understanding of the
requirements.
