This Seneca foster care pre-approval training is primarily designed for prospective resource parents with the purpose of developing and strengthening the knowledge, understanding, and skills essential when caring for foster youth. These trainings will be held virtually through Zoom. A link will be sent out closer to the training date after you register for the training.

Title of Training: Managing Crisis for Enhanced Caregivers Part 2

Class Description: An adaptation of Equilibrium content designed for Enhanced Resource Families, focused on intervention selection, crisis communication in various formats (in person, over the phone, via text), and collaborative safety planning. This space also provides a format for reflection on material participants have reviewed in a self-paced training on safety in the community and interacting with first responders.
