Timely
management of paperwork and meeting productivity requirements, while making
positive connections and impact with system involved youth - that’s being a
true SUPERHERO. Learn strategies for sustainable “superheroing” so you can
provide super care and interventions to system involved youth and their
families. We will cover strategies to address challenges with paperwork and
productivity, and will develop a sustainable superhero plan to address the
barriers to successfully meeting your clients’ needs while staying calm and
focused.
Class Objectives: (what knowledge, ideas or skills will
participants explore, learn, practice, etc during the training) Provide at
least 3 class objectives.
Participants
will be able to:
- Determine at least one technical block to
managing timely and thorough paperwork
- Implement at least one strategy to address any
technical blocks to managing timely and thorough paperwork;
- Determine at least one organizational block to
managing timely and thorough paperwork;
- Implement at least one strategy to address any
organizational blocks to managing timely and thorough paperwork
- Determine at least one psychological block to
managing timely and thorough paperwork;
- Implement at least one strategy to address any
psychological blocks to managing timely and thorough paperwork
- Develop a plan to facilitate providing timely,
professional interventions with appropriate boundaries to clients.
How
can participants utilize their new skills and knowledge after the training to
reinforce their learning? (provide at least 2 transfer of learning strategies)
- Participants
will create a plan for the week that incorporates at least one of the
strategies proposed in this training.
- Participants
will critically examine their work flow to identify where organizational
or psychological blocks may be impacting their paperwork flow
Trainer Bio:
Rachel Michaelsen MSW, LCSW have been providing mental health
services to individuals, couples and families as an LCSW for over 30 years. She
has studied, utilized and taught interventions from the fields of energy psychology,
energy medicine, neuroplasticity and trauma informed care for the last 25
years. Rachel currently teaches a variety of classes inclduing diagnosis,
energy psychology, human sexuality, trauma informed care, law and ethics,
supervision, HIV, suicide and more.
IMPORTANT
You must work with dependent (foster& probation) youth in Alameda, Contra Costa, Solano, San Francisco or Monterey County in order to attend our trainings. Trainings are free for those eligible to attend.
CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS
Course meets the qualifications for 3.5 continuing education credits for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Seneca Family of Agencies is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs.Seneca Family of Agencies maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content. We are unable to provide certificates of completion if more than 15 minutes of each course content is missed.

• You must fully complete SENECA CAMFT evaluations, before leaving your training, with your full name legibly written.
